We’re pleased to announce an exciting update for our valued traders. Starting Monday, December 2nd, at 17:00 server time, CXM introduces a new tiered-leverage structure for cryptocurrency trading on the MT5 platform. This innovative update enables clients to maximize their potential with:
- 100:1 leverage on major cryptocurrency pairs: BTCUSD, ETHUSD, LTCUSD, SOLUSD, and BCHUSD.
- 20:1 leverage on all other cryptocurrency instruments.
This new structure is based on each client's account's Net-Open-Position (NOP), offering competitive leverage while promoting responsible trading.
How It Works
- Initial Trades: Enjoy the full leverage of 100:1 or 20:1 based on the instrument
- Higher NOP Margin Requirements: For trades exceeding one lot per cryptocurrency, subsequent trades will have a reduced leverage of 10:1
For example:
If your BTCUSD NOP exceeds one lot, the margin requirement for risk-adding trades on BTCUSD will reflect leverage of 10:1. However, your initial trades remain unaffected.
SWAP CHARGES
While CXM offers swap-free trading, trades held longer than a week may be flagged for swaps. Our cryptocurrency swap rate is -30% per annum, applied regardless of direction.
Example Calculation:
- Market Price of BTCUSD: $96,000
- Per Annum Swap Charge: $28,800 ($96,000 x 0.3)
- Daily Swap Charge: $80 ($28,800 ÷ 360 days)
TRADING IN GOOD FAITH
