C38000 alloy is commonly referred to as architectural bronze or low-leaded bronze. It is often used for thresholds, door and window frames, hinges and builders hardware. The addition of a small amount of aluminum gives this alloy a bright golden color. And the lead gives it advanced free-cutting properties.
